About Us
The Celtic Congress
(Scotland):
- supports the development of the Gaelic language and culture.
- promotes interest in the other Celtic languages and cultures by encouraging close links with fellow Celts in Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, Man and Wales.
- puts a particular emphasis on education.
- encourages young people to participate in its activities
- supports organisations with similar objectives
- organizes ceilidhs, inter-Celtic concerts and other cultural and fund raising events
- keeps in regular contact with its members through its newsletter.
The Celtic Congress (Scotland) is recognized as a charity. It is non-political and non-sectarian. If you support the aims of the Celtic Congress (Scotland) – whatever your age group – you are cordially invited to join and you will be made very welcome!

- a’ cur ar chois chèilidhean, chuirmean-ciùil eadar-Cheilteach agus a leithid sin, gus an dualchas a neartachadh agus gus ionmhas a thogail
- a’ cumail fiosrachaidh ris na buill gu cunbhalach le cuairtlitir
